Account Information: Email address and subscription tier.
App Usage Data: Check-ins, journal entries, Marks (sobriety milestones), Creeds, and recovery progress.
Device Data: Basic technical information such as device type, operating system, crash logs, and performance metrics.
Payment Information: Processed securely by third-party platforms (Apple App Store / Google Play). Ravenmark does not store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide daily check-ins, journaling, Creeds, and Marks tracking.
To enable Sarka (AI chat) for users with Tier 2 or Tier 3 access.
To improve app functionality, personalization, and security.
To communicate important updates, such as feature changes or policy updates.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (International Users)
Consent: You consent to data collection when creating an account or subscribing.
Contract: We process data to provide the services you subscribe to.
Legitimate Interest: To improve app features, security, and stability.
4. What We Do Not Do
We do NOT sell your personal data under any circumstances.
We do NOT use your data for third-party advertising.
We do NOT share journal or check-in entries with anyone (see Law Enforcement and Legal Requests below for limited exceptions).
5. Non-Disclosure Promise
Ravenmark is built on trust. Our policy is simple: what you share in the app stays in the app. We will never sell your data or provide it to third parties for their use. We treat your journal entries, check-ins, and private conversations as strictly confidential — 'who you see here, what you hear here, let it stay here.'
6. Law Enforcement and Legal Requests
In very limited circumstances, Ravenmark may be required to disclose user data in response to valid legal processes, such as subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements. If we are compelled to disclose user data by law, we will:
Require a valid legal process before disclosing data; and
Provide the minimum amount of information necessary to comply; and
Notify you of the request unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
We will resist overly broad or abusive requests whenever permitted by law.
7. Third-Party Services
Ravenmark may use third-party services such as OpenAI (for AI chat), Google Analytics (for app performance), and cloud hosting providers.
Each third-party processes data only as necessary to provide their service.
Conversations with Sarka may be processed by AI systems to improve functionality. These are private to you and never used for advertising or unrelated purposes.
9. Data Retention
Active Accounts: Data is stored as long as your account is active.
Deleted Accounts: Once you delete your account, personal data and journals are permanently erased within 30 days.
Backups: Limited encrypted backups may be stored for up to 60 days before permanent deletion.
10. International Data Transfers
Ravenmark is operated in the United States. By using the app, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries. We implement safeguards such as encryption to protect your data.
11. User Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
